Advisory

Common moments when clients call
The initiative may change. The underlying challenge is usually the same: determining what people need to understand, then deciding the best way to help them understand it.

  • ERP implementation

  • Technology modernization

  • AI adoption

  • Organizational restructuring

  • Merger or integration

  • Culture change

The technology is rarely the hardest part. Helping people understand where they’re going—and why—usually is.

Executive Leaders

You own outcomes.
You need someone who can help pressure-test decisions, simplify complexity, and align people around a clear direction.

Communication & Change Leaders

You became responsible for helping people navigate uncertainty.
You don't need another communications calendar.
You need a thought partner who understands leadership, narrative, adoption, and execution—and can help turn the change into a coherent story people understand and act on.

Transformation Leaders

You’re responsible for moving a consequential initiative from decision to adoption. You need to keep leaders, managers, and teams aligned while the reality continues to change.

Who I Help

Experienced judgment for organizations navigating complex change.

Organizations have more communication capability than ever. What they often lack is an experienced perspective at the moments when the stakes are highest. I partner with executives, communication leaders, and transformation teams to reduce uncertainty, accelerate decisions, and turn complex change into a direction people can understand and follow. You get access to thirty years of experience without adding another full-time executive.

Every situation is different. Let’s talk about what you’re navigating. If I’m not the right fit, I can usually point you in a useful direction.

Problems I Can Help Solve

  • Our strategy makes sense in the room, but it isn’t translating across the organization.

  • Leadership isn't telling one consistent story.

  • We're moving quickly but confidence isn't keeping up.

  • We need senior judgment without hiring another executive.

  • Our communication is producing activity instead of understanding.

  • We want to use AI without multiplying confusion or compromising judgment.

  • We have talented internal people who simply need another experienced set of eyes.

Why This Model Works

Why access can make more sense than headcount

Thirty years ago, experienced judgment was often bundled with specialized production skills. Today, many of those tools are widely accessible. Judgment isn’t.

Organizations don't always need another full-time executive. They need access to someone who has lived through comparable moments, recognizes the pattern, and knows which questions to ask. That's why I work fractionally.

You get focused access to senior experience exactly where it creates the most value, while your internal team continues building capability long after I'm gone.

If I become indispensable, I probably failed. The goal isn't dependency. It's a stronger organization.

FAQ

Why not just hire someone full time?

A full-time hire makes sense when the need is permanent and the role is clear. Fractional support makes sense when you need senior judgment during critical decisions, transitions, or periods of concentrated change—without creating a permanent position before one is warranted.

Why not use a traditional consulting firm?

When you hire me, you work with me—not layers of account management, junior associates, or a rotating project team. Sometimes a larger firm is the right fit. I’ve worked alongside major consulting firms when clients needed specialized communication and change leadership. Once I understand your situation, I’m happy to give you an honest view of the options.

Are you hands-on?

Absolutely. I'm comfortable facilitating executive workshops in the morning and refining communication with your team that afternoon.

How long do engagements typically last?

Most engagements are between 90 days and six months, although some relationships continue much longer as ongoing advisory partnerships.

Do you work with internal teams?

I often do when a client has a team in place. In those cases, my goal is to help your people become stronger, not more dependent on me.
